Time is time…
Nothing more to define…
What interest do I have in defining time
If I don’t want to feel it?
Whether it’s Christmas or Easter,
Summer, winter or spring
It’s always time to renew
It’s always time to wait.
It’s always time to meet
To smile, to cry and to love
Because after each night
The sun wakes up shining!
However long it may be, we are always learning
That it will never be too much
The passion for living…
Gathered here today
With joy and friendship
In each toast
We feel that there is truth!
Let’s toast to Christmas, to all that it contains
Let’s celebrate time
Here…there or beyond…
Let’s toast to Christmas
To life, to health and to peace
Because, after all, time passes
And doesn’t let us go back…
